My grandson, who is 13, is currently a Life rank scout, has 69 (of 137) merit badges and is working to become an Eagle Scout before his 15th birthday ... one of the youngest Eagle scouts ever. My daughter is a den mother and, is involved with the regional leadership of the Scouting organization. The following is her take on this. "So .. the only thing that changed was the Boy Scouts (the older youth program) is now called Scouts BSA. The organizational name is still Boy Scouts of America. I think it’s all reasonable."
