Doug Jones' victory in Alabama is an ominous sign for Republicans

From blog publisher: "This was a strategic loss. It was about the seat, NOT the allegations . Scientific principles of propaganda attacks with allegations and the specific timing were critical to success and typically only work against Republicans. (Actually this was masterful in its execution) Moore was not the strategic choice of the party. Their choice AND Trump's original choice was overturned in the primaries by the ambitious publicity magnate, Moore. Populism in Alabama did not match with the populism that brought in Trump as president. This critical LOST SEAT is a harbinger of a massacre at mid term. It could be the start of a lame duck president. This does not make me happy. Trump is making headway on a number of domestic and foreign issues but the ability to do so crumbles as the BIG THREE goals of his campaign agenda fail to gain traction. LOWER TAXES - CONTROLLED IMMIGRATION - FIX HEALTHCARE. Those losses will plummet support of mid-term candidates and hand Trump a lame-duck presidency. There are some pluses to have a president that is not beholden to the political swamp, but it would be nice if he had a few critical political skills to get his agenda through congress."
